Reviewers
Each manuscript is to be reviewed by at least two independent reviewers.
Neither authors nor reviewers know each other’s identity (”double-blind review process”)
The review is to be submitted in written form. It has to determine unequivocally whether the manuscript should be published, revised or rejected.
Based on the reviews gathered, Editors make the final decision with regard to the publication of articles.
The principles of article acceptance for publication and the rules of manuscript preparation are specified in the section INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS.
On an annual basis, Epidemiological Review publishes a list of reviewers who have collaborated with editorial board.
